After some contemplating, I accepted the job which was offered to me by a commercial fishing net company situated at Ubi. This job once again is Japanese related. In other words, I was employed because I know Japanese. In this job I am required to speak Japanese to the company's agent in Japan. Kinda gets me worrying since I am not that fluent in speaking. Really have no idea why they offered me the job though. Oh well, hope I can pick up more on the job. Come to think of it, ain't it too much of a coincidence? Last year I was retrenched and soon after I was offered a position which required me to use Japanese as well. I might be starting work this Thurs or if not latest 1st of Dec. I am supposed to call the lady but I could not contact her.

Finally watched Harry Potter and The Globet of Fire! Watched it with a dear old poly friend. Was supposed to catch it at Cineleisure at ard 2+ but the seats were ALL sold out til the night slots. Walked ard to find an AXS machine and finally picked GV Marina to catch the anticipated movie. But before that we 'walked horses see flowers'.We had some quick bite at McDonald's. Tried out the new teppanyaki burger. My friend also bought Coke with Lime, eh not much of a lime taste leh.. WHHAHAHAHA. We walked from Centre Point all the way to National Library to see the Zheng He Exhibition. Was quite impressed initially from the models of the ships. Zheng He is a Muslim! Some of the set-ups are abit sloppy esp the places where we saw economical 'stick-ons' for those areas (on the walls) which have some mistakes or what. Anyway, China was VERRY advanced during that area. It is almost like the America of today, until it could have been a superpower if not for Communism.

We toured round NLB. Basically, it is just spacious with more reference books areas and exhibition than books for borrowing. The area for borrowing is at the basement. Very typical library feel and the whole place is just messy with kids all over the place. We had wanton noodles at Bras Besar Complex. Fwaah, its really good!!! The noodles are cooked nicely with an alluring glitter from the char-siew sauce. The texture is excellent and so is the feel when u slurrp the noodles into ur mouth and started chewing. It has a springy feel, the 'QQ' feel coupled with the nicely brewed char-siew sauce and sambal chilli...The wanton soup is delightfully refreshing with the sweetness of ikan bilis and pork bones. The wantons are full with fresh sweet shrimps with tender minced pork thoroughly marinated.

Oke so we walked to Marina. Wah big difference compared to 2 months ago. It is so big lined with plenty of shops. Anyway, my feet was sore from all the walking.

This 4th installtion of Harry Potter is probably the DARKEST of all the HP movies. Not only the movie itself is enshrouded in darkness but so is the plot. No wonder it is rated NC-16. The characters have grown no doubt and Emma Watson is stunning...and so are the French gals. WHAHHAHAHAHAHA. In fact, Emma is so stunning, her makeup was actually played down so that she will look more normal on screen. Some parts are confusing though cos I felt they are 'cut' from the original novel due to the 2.5 hrs constraint. For eg, the part where the 4 champions were supposed to battle their dragons. Only Harry's battle was showed.

Anyway, looking forward to the next HP.
