[just another]

it is just another week. Hot, boring and nothing much really. Sunday was spent at the temple where my dad and grandparents' urns are, luckily for us this yr we decided to go in the afternoon. Surely the crowd was there but was better. Enduring 30 min of incense smoke is killing and my hair, clothes reek of smoke and ashes, not to mention an irritated throat.

And April will come soon, meaning my BD will come soon too! 28th BD =/ and I decided to give myself a nice SEIKO 5 SPORTS ATLAS AUTOMATIC DIVER WATCH 200M SKZ229 watch this yr, not that cheap tho, who knows I might decide to get another one haha.

[and long week end ended]

good things end fast and my super long weekend just ended like a wink of an eye.

I kinda miss the days when i was slacking at home doing nothing (except for looking for jobs and going for interviews), when the day starts at 10-11am > internet > lunch > TV/nap > dinner > TV > Internet

Such luxury seems faraway, unless i take a 7 days leave or something.

Oh, and my new wallpaper is so damm chio can?

[long weekend]

IM ON LEAVE ON MONDAY SO ITS A SUPER LONG WEEKEND FOR ME =D

good Fri was spent at home. Sat and Sun at home! I have an insect who asked me for movie but could not do so due to bad timing. =( Saw a old poly friend who has been MIA since he started working in ST. Cant help but think that I should really learn to watch movies alone. I do not mind shopping alone tho cos I have been doing that since NS days? But back then I had the habit of buying comics, which is something I stopped during recent years.

Some thoughts have been running in my head. Somethings here and there. Things abt acceptance, about people who seek the acceptance of other people and those whom failed to do so and feel anguish, disappointed. Things abt rejection and how this will lead to addiction which is also related to being accepted. It sounds complicated, probably is since it deals intricately with the soul of oneself.

And yes i almost decided to go back to church today.

[and....]

and it is just another dry week ploughing though work.

Having a full stomach at work helps beating the sleepy bug. I can feel tired and sleepy even in the morning esp when I am hungry. However, on Thurs and Fri, I bought fried kuaytiao noodles from the nearby canteen. It tasted really good and they are fresh and hot. I have tasted bad ones where the noodles are over cooked and were bloated and soggy, to make things worse, cheap soy sauce left a smelly aftertaste on my tongue. With my stomach filled, I did not feel sleepy at all! haha.

Work is not going on too well, I am tasked with analysing prices from the chinkland factory and to breakdown the figures and whatnot and all the yadda yadda yadda (*@#$&*%(!)#(*%

It is really a very dry week. Oh where is my river?

And the new week has started for 1 hr.

[and it is]

The IT fair just ended today and I bought nothing! haha, initially wanted to get a budget monolaser printer but running low on cash so I dropped that idea. Anyway I do not have anything to print now but having a printer will be good in the future i guess. I had enough problems on inkjets where the ink dries up after sometime and the print head or nozzles get clogged with dried ink. The crowd was super bad according to a local forum and it certainly seemed that way on TV.

Workload reached its peak and I was not coping too well. Work was in bits and pieces, nothing seemed to be completed and more work got loaded in before I could complete anything. If this continues or more workload comes in (such as taking care of the Jpn market again, since that Jpn left), I will definitely throw in my resignation letter. Then they can slowly take their own sweet time to find one person who does design, ops and sales together hahaha.

Besides work, life has not been anything more. Hardly meet friends now, no more movies, no more phone chats. I do wonder if this is good or bad?

Well, I did clear out my cupboard yesterday night, it was quite something to see how much junk i collected since 2000 (from uber old keyboards to mice packaging to old pc parts, alot of other boxes and more junk!), seeing somethings did bring back some fond memories, some really fond memories which is something I could nv go back. I wonder if things were to remain the same then, how would I be now?

Oh well...another long wk ahead.

More colleagues have left, thanks to a lousy profit allocation system. 1 of them who left is the Jpn colleague and soon enuff I guess, i will need to do his work, handles the purchasing from the 2 factories and design.

YAY, more good time ahead. if workload increases ever more, i will be the next one to fuck off.

[simlim again]

It was another trip down to SLS again this ytd. This time, I went to buy a lacie external 20X dvdrw ($160) and also a nice Razerpro ($60) mouse. Not much time was wasted chatting since Ms Kim was not around,so I just bought the drive and went around SLS looking for the Razerpro mouse. But before all this, I had lunch at SLS basement foodcourt. The wanton mee looks good so I ordered with more noodles hehe, $4. Not bad but not as nice as the one I had in Hong Lim Center.

Surprisingly the razerpro mouse is kinda hard to find. Most shops are selling the other razer series mice such as the diamond back, etc, all with funky lights. Anyway I managed to find it at Fuwell's 2nd outlet on the 5th floor. After getting my stuff, I went back home and it was drizzingly too.

Setting the mouse is easy but since it is a 'pro' mouse with alot of configurable buttons, it took me sometime to install the correct drivers and also to configure the buttons. Apparently the CD which comes with it does not contain the latest drivers. Messed around for sometime and after installing the right drivers, all seem right to go. But configuring the sensitivity was quite a pain in the arse since there are so many options haha.. anyway, everything seems to be well now.

The lacie drive was bigger than I thought! It is quite long, basically a Toshiba Samsung drive eased in a aluminium looking metallic case which is rather rough to the touch. I connected via FW on daisychain to my WD My Book meaning, I do not need to connect to another FW 400 port (I dun have it too since the only one is taken up by the ext HDD), so I simply connect it another FW 400 port on WD My Book. But me being a noob in FW devices did not realise that was all to it cos I expected to see my drive to be mounted like a ext HDD, haha. It was only after reading through the downloaded manual then I realised, oh!, it is already there. Burning on Toast Lite was easy too.

Dinner was at Yishun Seafood, ordered sambal squids, veg fried with fermented tofu and claypot tofu, all for $23 for 2! The sambal squid was good and it was quite a huge plate for $8. Walked all the way to NTUC (very full after the dinner) before renting 881 to watch at home, since Mum wanted to watch it and I dun mind too. Well, it is not that bad, afterall it is by Roystan Tan. The acting by Wang Xin and Teo Yan Yan was good too.

And sun just ended and tmr morning, I have to rush out a SC by 10am, yay. zz
