While walking home along the loooog concrete path, dragging my weary body and soul from a day of hustle and bustle, enjoying the cool breezes that ruffle through my hair, something bright in the sky caught my eye. The moon is shining unusually bright and the sky seems to be clear. As I gazed at the moon, I happened to look at the countless stars surrounding it.
As my vision fixes onto the countless stars fixated here and there, suddenly I feel all the tireness, all the things that had bogged me down recently to be lifted. I feel so small, so insignificant among the stars among the countless galaxies that are strewed across the Universe. All the troubles (if any) feel so small, until they are almost nothing!
I cannot fanthom how all these began, those countless stars,galaxies etc. And how can u say there is no God?
Well,if u ever feel down, look up.
Somehow the above line sounds so familar, seems to jump out from the things I learnt in church, back then.
It has been awhile or rather quite a long while before I actually go out on a precious day called the weekend.
The day is spent with some porkers whom I nv met before, just online chats. The meet up went well, except for the rain. 1st, KTV which has also been quite awhile. Then dinner then to 愛琴海, a ming ge cafe. Wow, I think i will frequent this place is this Xing Yao singer called Hong Shao Xuan is there. Woah he is really good! He sang several of the 80s-90s classics and some jerked up some emotions and i listened until my tears flowed =xxxxxx. Anyway no one saw WHHAHAHAHAHAHA..I like the ambience, the service and of cos the songs. When Cai Li Lian came to take over, her songs are more for those kinna pis borned in the late 80s onwards, did not really feel so much for them.
Guess I have a place to go next time to listen to nice songs HOHOHOHOHOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Anyway I left early.
I wanted to take a bus back but the whole Marina area is..so...'messy' now (and it is dark) so being my usual self - no sense of direction, i made a long way to cityhall mrt. Somehow I enjoy a slow bus ride home instead of a crowded train facing people whom I dunno.
Oh yeah V-Day is coming....honestly, what' so special about this day?

A rather delightful online conversation with an old online friend. We somewhat concluded,
" There's no point in keeping a r/s if the feelings are gone. What's most important is we have loved before and we believed that was love, at that point of time, when we were us. There is no point in being bitter why it ended or to harp on endlessly. We rather rem the sweet lovely moments than to remember the hurt to remind us it was once beautiful, it was once love, it was once us. Love should be beautiful, not bitter. There's no point in keeping a r/s for the sake of keeping it because it ran long, what's the point when the once-hadfeelings have sublimed into nothingness? Is there a need to get married because a couple has been tog for long?

Ain't not a couple get married because they love each other not because they are too used to each other? I admire old couples holding hand in hand tog. I believe that was more than love itself. Sometimes I do wonder although we are living in close proximity to one and other in a crowded urban city like SG, why do people feel lonier? So near, yet so far nv felt more adequate.

Since Korean star Rain is here..so if Rainie Yeung also comes to SG and perform on the same stage as Rain, will it cause a storm and flood the entire area? Then if Fish Leong happens to be in the same place as well, will she swim in the flood waters?

The Saturday was spent at Orchard, in the bus, in the salon, in the rain.
Being lazy and wanna tried taking the bus 167 to Orchard, I was late for my appt at Gorgeous Hair Studio. Luckily, I did not miss my appointment haha. The trip was relatively ok until the Novena Church area, its so phuqing packed with cars! The salon was more crowded than usual. Almost all of the seats were filled except for one which was supposed to be mine.
The stylist decided to do a 'new' hair style for me. The fringe was sliced with a slop? The sides near the temples are longer while the rest in the middle are cut slightly shorter. He said he going to give me a cut where I can style my hair down, haha..eh abit like Felicia Chin's fringe in her new show. WHAHHAHAHA...Service at the salon was good as usual, saw the sweet assistant =x... What was unexpected at the end was the stylist asked a gal to prepare a digital perm whatever u called that I thought it was for someone else.
After my hair was washed the 2nd time after the cut, I realised it was for me! =O I got kinda shocked cos, why wld he wanna perm my hair? Oh anyway, he only permed the fringe. Guessed he wanted to make e cutting more obvious. After that, he applied some nice smelling clay from Jpn (which I hope to find it cheaper elsewhere) and styled my hair nicely. I felt odd walking out cos my hair was permed! ahhaha. But the effect now is not too obvious after I washed my hair again.
It was pouring after my haircut. Bus trip home was idle with music from my phone's radio. And the air-con on top of me was leaking. Mum commented why I cut my hair cos i will need to cut again ard CNY..one haircut and she nag nag nag...but then, mayb i will need one more cut ard CNY. hehe..
I wonder how many of u feel the same.
Work takes up so much of ur time and energy, the only time u have for urself is that few hours at home for dinner and TV. More than half ur day is taken up by work. By the time u reach home, do u have any mood for anything else besides dinner and TV and then rest? And then the next day, the whole cycle just repeats. No wonder a friend told me how scared she if this kinda life carries on and how she will lose herself to work. I seem to be beginning to feel the same.
Well, the week has been busy.
And the word to describe the entire feeling which is engulfing me is 'jaded' which means ' tired, bored, or lacking enthusiasm, typically after having had too much of something'
But its Friday! =D that will wash away some blues. haha

The week has been hectic but time passes quickly which is a good thing. It seems to be more fulfilling as well. Besides work, there is nothing much else going on except for last Sat's wedding dinner...and maybe the coming Sat when I will be cutting my hair again? ahhahaha...It has been peaceful, well made a new friend over FP, very experienced designer! Hope to learn more from her as well.
It is a long awaited wedding for one of my closest cousin whom I played and fought with since young. It was held at Jin Yu Man Tang @ UIC Building. Quite a convenient place actually cos there's a direct bus from my house. It is a joy to see them again cos now we only see each other during festive seasons like CNY and that's abt it, compared to when we were still kids, we see each other every weekend. How time flies indeed...It was like yesterday when I was having A Maths tuition from my cousin and always waah aww at his newest PC or gadgets haha..anyway he is a very nice guy,smart,filial,stable and mature thus he managed to get himself a pretty wife too! =D
The food is not too bad tho I find them not salty enough. I dunno why, everyone seemed to be =o when they saw me in a jacket. Lucky I brought mine there cos it was cold. Anyway, I though I was lucky enough to evade the question of 'when is ur turn to get married?' but I was wrong, it came when we were all going down to the ground floor inside the lift.

The dinning table decor, the rose got charred by the candle flame and was emitting a smell which permeated the air and my other younger cousins were making weird faces (not shown) haha.
The younger cousins. My God, they can really drink! Esp the one shown drinking. 2 just grad from JC, one still attending. It was like ytd once again that they were in pri sch..and now all grown up. I feel old suddenly.

For the past week, the weather has been erratic. There can be sudden downpours for 5 min and the sun can shine for the rest of the day or evening.
Well I finally collected my long awaited specs. It was delayed by a week. Since it was new and with new deg I felt queasy when I wore them yesterday. Although it is clearer but I felt the ground was 'floating' hahaha and I walked quite unnaturally as I was stepping harder with each step. But it is much better today.
The specs with titanium frame ( not much of a frame as there's only the bridge btwn the lens and the 2 pcs of whatever u call that) is inevitably lighter and since the sides have springs it is definitely not as tight as my previous pair. In fact my previous specs is so tight they left 'dents' at my temples. Even my stylist commented my specs mst be very tight =x
Anyway, I had some slight difficulty walking ard AMK Central with the new specs (despite the sweltering weather) but still I managed to get what I wanted, Tip Top Curry Puffs! Sad to see that the prices went up again, now it is $1 per pc. I rem like 10 yrs ago it was ard $0.50 a pc. ahha but still they are great, they have the best fillings I ever tasted. I bought 2, mum ate half of 1 pc, so I was left with 1.5pc + a peanut pancake I bought during lunch.
The rest of the evening was spent watching My Girl, I cannot believe I am almost done with the show! fccuk, I dun want it to end so fast...but there are only 16 episodes. The next drama I might possibly buy is Vineyard Man starring my princess Yoon Eun Hye. =D

I did some xmas cards as the top instructed me to do so. One fine day, i was forwarded an email with an attachment of a card made by my colleague. Then I was called into the room and I was told this, 'even she not design trained can do better than u...' blah...In other words, it means, 'even my maid can do a better design than u' OR 'even my dog can do it better than u'.
After the new yr, I realised I cld not really stomach this. I asked my friends if they have been ran down by their superiors in that manner, they said no. Oh well.

and once again, holidays passed like a blink of an eye.Honestly,im not really looking forward to work tml. But guess it shld be able than staying at home doing nothing. I hate the feeling but everything feels so grey again.
