People do change. And im really afraid. I dun believe in a relationship which can last forever. Unless the 2 really can die for each other. When relationships come too easily, does it mean it will end easily too ?

After working im begining to think differently. Im surpassing my mentality n mindset to a new level. No, my ego is not bursting. I long for a companion not only wif reasonable good looks but also personailty n maturity. I dun need a emotional basket when i got enuff of one @ home who can rant @ the slighest thing like hair on my floor, plates not placed properly, tables not wiped.

Men no matter who they r oways suckers for visual stimulant. They will nv mind if their wives or gfs bother to doll themselves up.

Enuff said.

2003 is coming to an end - juz like that. This yr had been a rather normal yr for me. I completed my (sucky) NS on Feb this yr. I will forever rem the date, a date i was waiting so desperately to come. 22/02/03. Let me do a recap of yr 2003 for me.

Jan 2003
-I shld be clearing my leave and also slacking @ home and also going for interviews of which none is successful.

Feb 2003
-Still on leave n slacking @ home. Did my clearance as well as dental FFI. ORD on the 22nd. ORD LOH HWHHAHAAA

March 2003
-Managed to get my 1st job @ a printing firm which pays not too badly but the working hours is slavery to most people. The working time is frm 7.30am to 7.30pm 12 hrs wif only half an hour's lunch break. Half an hour !!!! Anyway, my performance is not very good there. Well nevertheless, i worked until late May when i quitted.

April 2003
-Yay my birthday on the 30th. Got 2 gundam models frm cuteball. Still working @ printing firm wif records of MCs n urgent leaaves.

May 2003
-Decided to perform better in work but something my manager said to me made me wanna quit. Well so be it. I was quite loaded then, money was not much of an issue then. I quitted this sucky job.

June 2003
-Slacking at home, did go for some interviews...and actually managed to get one designer post but the company is so new, i had to work frm home, no pay cos no projects coming in YET. In the end, after discussion wif my mum, I decided to give it a miss.

July 2003
-Still bumming @ home wif relentless blasts of nagging frm my mum.

Aug 2003
-Finally found work again at Singtel as a customer service officer. Training wise was oke, anyway we had 2 weeks of training and during this period i made some friends ! Even now, we r still in contact. Shit, i still have my stuff @ my ex colleague's place. Work wise was tolerable, unless u encounter nasty n demanding customers on the phone. Some r really...one of a kind. They know nothing, yet want this want that...and think they r the ones paying the most expensive plans then. This made me to realise local peasants r so fcuking cheapskate. They only see the price and not the contents of the packages in the so called 256k or 512k "broadband" package. They nv bother abt the clauses n e surcharges this n that and when we explained nicely to them why they were being charged at that bill...they will "##%#))&$&

This also show me Singnet plans are really designed to rip as much ca$h frm stupid peasants. Im wondering why would any decent ISP come wif broadband plans on a limited useage/time/vol basis. The monthly sub is dirtcheap ( which the peasants only find it visible to their "paranomic" field of vision) but if they require tech assistance, they have to make a 1900 xxx xxxx call @ 30 cents per min ! And normally tech calls can drag up to half an hour or more. The unlimited "broadband" charges r insane. Wif that kinda price ($78+++ for the remaining 12 months of a 18 month contract then) i rather go get Maxonline surfing at up to 3000kbps whereelse Singnet is offering 512kbps of "dedicated" access. Pls note that this "dedicated access" is not even capable of streaming a quicktime movie at medium resolution.

One of my very good excolleague was fired becos he was over qualified. YEah thats the freaking reason. OVERQUALIFIED. Another decided to quit which really lower my morale. I quitted soon after them

Sep 2003
-zhorbohlan @ home, oh not so, im listening to chants of " go find work go find work" frm my mum. Went into multilevel marketting wif my ex class/coursemates. Oke, dun think it suit me that well..shall not tok abt it.

Oct 2003
- found temp work @ British Council !!!!!!!! Its a very nice place to work. Nice office, nice people...nice working hours. Mon to Fri frm 9-5. Shiok hor ? hehehe..I missed that place. Working period is frm 13th of Oct to 30th of Nov

Dec 2003
- found work @ TMC Educational Grp.

Return of the missing turtle.

There was a mini pet fair @ sun plaza a few weeks ago and I bought 2 baby terraphins. However one went missing one fine day and there was no way I can find it. I looked under the sofas, fridge, behind the cupboards..all no signs of it. Thus i reckon it found its way outta house and it got lost or eaten up. Therefore i went to buy another one a few days later.

WHo knows, on mon. This terraphine came back on its own !!! It was in my house all these while. I was sleeping then and when i opened my eyes i saw this circular black thing near the door. I put on my specs n i realised it was the missing terraphin.

I bought Gatsby Wax and i think its a whole lot better than the Loreal Gel. Gatsby Wax ( wif low mat/shine ) is definitely more natual looking than the wet sticky look frm loreal. Not to say it smell better. Loreal smelled like some artificial glue wif lotsa methanol and e smell lingers ard ur head.

Work was oke. Been working inside the store of 2 days arranging the new/old textbooks. Its kinda better than staying @ e office and picking up phonecalls and attending to walk-ins. :P

Xmas was spent @ cute ball granny house. Her granny cooked a buffet style lunch/dinner. There was fried beehoon, fried rice, fried chicken wings, rendang beef, satay (slurrrrrrp) fried fish.....It was more of a family n friends gathering. Carols were sung but we nv join in. haha...Spent a whole day there n a few hours were spent napping. hwhah..anyway i had e same (only lesser in proportions) stuff for both dinner n lunch.

Cute ball's uncle who happened to live very near me sent me home after sending her parents home. We took a long route frm Boon Lay to thomson and frm thomson back to sembawang. On e road saw a few cases of reckless taxi drivers who can change frm the 3rd lane to the 1st one w/o signalling or is it vice versa ? :P

Why do some pple of certain countries think they r some big fcuks when they immigrate to singapore? To me they r not expatriates but simply some cheap labour. I dun mind foreigners but i dun like those who think they r the 1st class citizens here. Some Indians especially think they r some head-hunted IT experts. Pls understand u r only a cheap stand in for our poly n uni IT grads. Some Banglandesh workers purposely went to crowded places ( such as Xmas countdowns, new yr count downs) to purposely get afresh wif gals there. Mayb they watched too much Bollywood movies and they think they r hunks. Well the same goes to some cheena "foreign talents". Not trying to be a racist here but simply some of my views. :P

Soon it will be 2004 and i will be turning 24 !!!!!!!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah~~~!!! Yet most part of Asia (except for Japan)are still watchin VCDs. Im wondered why and i realised its the higher price of DVDs. As i expected Ayumi latest mini album came in as Asian imports/pirated version. And worse, most came in VCDs rather than the originally DVD. VCD- Does anyone agree how bad the quality is in VCD ? And how much does a shinco or what-have-u-made-in-cheena brand dvd player cost ? Speaking of cheena home appliances, does anyone realise in alot of electrical appliance stores these days, there have been quite a no. of unknown/unheard brands popping outta nowhere? Or r they frm Taiwan or Korea ?

Finally watched the greatly anticipated LOTR - The Return of the King. It was great and nv failed to disappoint, unlike Matrix Revolution. Gollum revealed its true nature in this last part of the trilogy. And i have to say this CG character is so "real". Aragon was great, Legolas was great and so were Frodo,Sam..Gandalf...

The theatre was a freeeezer...it was so cold becos e air was blowing directly at me. What suprised me was not the ending of e movie but rather i dun rem hearing any mobile phones ringing. But e show was disturbed by one stupid kid crying. No doubt LOTR is a great show...but dun bring ur 3 yr old kid down to watch it wif u. I hate kids sometimes esp ill bred and ill behaved spoilt brats.

Anyway after e (3 hr) movie, i went for a haircut @ one of the salons in Sun Plaza. It s a $18 haircut and well, not too bad...juz tt i need to gel my hair for that desired look. Was looking @ e Gatsby series of Wax or styling gel in Watson...but nv got one in e end. And i kind like the Gatsby "Happy happy clap ur hair" TV commercial....its simply hilarious. HWHAHHHHaaaaaa

Spent quite a bit of money wif e xmas gifts...arrgh...mayb i shld not buy my Mastergrade S Gundam @ Robinson. But its quite a deal...fancy having bought e model which was originally $129++ @ $76++ Pics of the actual model can be found here. The next one im eyeing is a $169++ one...$169++ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its called Sazabi btw. :p More pics of the model can be found here.

My 1st Mastergrade gundam is called Zeta Plus C-1 Model pic is here.

Hifi or mino hifi or now more commonly called micro hifi are so cheap nowadays. U can get one for $100+++ Last evening i got one new mini system cos my coming to 10 yr old aiwa is ailing. The sound is still good but the cd player is skipping wif every 10-20 sec of playback.

Anyway, my new panasonic mini is only $399 wif some discount which i shall not reveal here..hha..The sound is crisp n clear tho initially when i tested it out @ best denki, it really sounded screeching high. The best sound still comes frm aiwa wif ample bass n clarity. The JVC set which i tested (oso $399) sounds flat. I believe only the higher end models ($499 & $599) will sound better wif their woofers n tweeters.

No more kenwood in Singapore that is !!! Tho so far i think Kenwood is one of the better sounding brands. The sales person @ best denki was recommending a Teac dvd model. It was small, but the sound is surprisinly better than bigger models. Teac like Yamaha and Nakamichi r more on the professional audiophile level brands. They r not really electrical appliances consumer brands like Sony, Panasonic, Phillips etc etc.. The cd player which one can listen to the cds @ HMV is frm Nakamichi, the deafening speakers @ HMV is frm Bose.

Saw some other aiwa models at AMK central...the cheaper models r really terrible..the workmanship n feel of these models r so bad...except for the highest end dvd model @ $799. The controls r so loose n flimsy, they felt they can be pulled out wif a few thugs.

Used to rem abt 10 yrs ago, mini combos costed abt $599 to $899 and above if u wan good sound...nowadays combos r getting smaller and also sacrifice on the sound quality. Not to say cheaper. And one thing i notice, shops r importing alot of funny unknown brands...mst be frm China where imitations r everywhere.

Its quite apparent i will write something abt last evening's Star Awards..ahhaa..

Its a rather quiet event this yr, not much super hot topics except for one guy. Some of my comments for ladies fashion, makeup and hairstyle this yr.

1) Fann Wong bra and mid-rift revealing rags dunno wat and her 2nd outfit which looked like some gym/aerobics outfit. Well at least better than her 1st Star Awards when she wore a super short hot pant.

2) Vivian Lai's hair was a disaster when she was emerging frm the stage. It looked like some 80s dace hostess hairdo.

3)Zoe Tay's "ultraman" foundation. Anyone notice that most of the ladies were donning some sorta silvery foundation which is so....eeks to me at least. And she got very beautiful eyes...wondered who did e makeup which magically make her double eyelids into a single one.

4) Why ddid Ow Xuan ponytail is deocrated those ah lian type of hair extensions ? The same thing wif Edmund Chen's hair. No it dun look nice cos i think its outta fashion oredi ?? But i like her clothes..kinda cute.

5) Sharon Aw's vampire lips...why is it so damm red ? And the eyes makeup again...it only make her eyes smaller.

6) Chew Chor Meng looked good. I liked the hair.

7) Jacelyn hair was seriously overdone. Jean Yip sucks really...her hair extensions does not do her justice in enhancing her glamourous look altho i got a feeling Jean Yip is trying to tap into her " oh-she-is-so-gorgeous" look to help elevate their image n position in local's beauty biz. The super long extensions looked more like some split ends.

8 ) Phyllis Quek is drop dead gorgeous ( to me )

I wondered how the fcuk did Michelle Saram got into the Top 10 while Chen Liping, Ivy Lee,Eileen Chen and Zheng Shi Mei were out. I kinda liked her when she was a model. After having a pathetic career flop in Taiwan, she was back in her homeland acting as a home wrecker...which is abt e same role she was given in Metor Garden II.( 3rd party ) Her role seriously, made her unpopular... She is a home wrecker ( TV Role ) yet she was not those bad woman...in other words..she is giving us the image of a unintentional, innocent slut.

Huanh Yiliang's MCP speech was a shock to the whole event and its participants...was he too engrossed in his role in Holland V ?

Anyone know who did the hair n makeup ? I hope its not Jean Yip tho i got a impression it was done by them...

Juz wondering why my nails n hair grow so fast..i need to trim my nails like every 1+ week..is this normal ? :P

Work today is more labourious but not as monotonous as e previous days. Surprisinly even managed to tok alittle bit more to my colleagues. Was arranging some chunks of paper n letters on the floor, well this made one female colleague laugh saying "why r u on the floor ?" Well she is a friendly person frm e way she tok, her behaviour and everything..still e gap between Uni grads n Poly grads is there.

Was given a "pig" amt of serving of food during lunch at Funan foodcourt. I was like "wah" what a fcuking huge plate. Its so huge that the tray could hardly hold it..whahahahha...

Feeling to drained n sick of things lately..getting numb or is it im trying to numb myself ? I need a perk

Type type type...yay, i gotta know how to do mail merge after a failure of the same thing in British Council.

Work is mundane. I could not click well wif the NUS and NTU grads---my colleagues becos im frm a different genre. Im a diploma--poly grad. So there is a "class" difference. We can only be colleagues only, so far frm wat i felt. Its a gut feeling. Surprisinly. I still keep in contact wif some of my ex colleagues frm singtel. They r great people whom i enjoy tokking to. Fun, caring and no air ard them

I can have lunch on my own but i certainly will not reject any "lunch together" offers by my friends or colleague. So far, none. So much for welcoming a new colleague. Eeks....so typical of Singaporeans. The office is not juz cold (physically n enviromentally )alone but the people there r too. Oke mayb im new, so they dun "dare" to approach me.

I enjoy attention. Mayb I dun get enuff since im a only child.

Lastly, Im a Singaporean but i dun class myself as a typical one. I do complain but its as simple as airing my views, thots..ect etc..dun point ur finger at me n accuse me as a typical Singaporean. Typical locals r peasants still dwelling in the kampong era and im not cos i belong to a certain class of people different frm typical peasants. And dun "slap a person and then say sorry"

Lame

Fuck NUS grads who think they r cream of the crop.

My ego shakes the world.

1st day of work at new place. Some things i obeserved.

One of the most established educational grps in sg still uses Pentium IIs.

There is a Pentium I PC on the 3rd floor which screen had gone yellow.

The toilets r not as clean as British Council's staff toilets.

The gals r prettier and younger than those of British Council's,generally cos they r mostly 1980 babies like me.

I still cannot rem most of the names except for those whom i had lunch wif this afternoon at 3pm. Yes lunch at 3 pm. there is no standard lunch time.but lunch break is 1 hr. Thankfully.

Hjwhahahahhaz..

ANother Cd which i might get.. Its Aya Matsuura or Ayaya !!!!! She is soooooo cute and delicious.

How am i different ?

I read Japanese, insists on Jpn imports for Jpn stuff like CDs, games n comics. Even my PC is in Japanese. Japanese Win 2K Professional. I insist on originalty if I can afford. Mayb it part of a designer "instinct" tho professionally, Im not.

I dun allow myself to conform to trends. It makes one look stupid and so peasant-like. Rem the Hello Kitty craze ? Its madness.

I bother to call up my close friends once in a well cos i enjoy chatting wif close friends, be it gal or guy.

I bother to hold the lift for pple who r taking the same lift as im.

I bother to stand on the left on escalators and hold e door of shopping doors open for the pple who might or not be behind me.

I bother to give up my seats to pregnant ladies and frail looking elderly people.

I am not mac crazed. Wonder why teenagers r so bloody rich to afford a $6 snack ( which is shrinkin in size ) loaded wif animal fats, calories, salt, sugar and wat have u.

I am not a bastard who dun allow his gf to go out wif her friends be it guy or gal.

*My ego shakes the world*
