[48]

48 yrs - this is what it took SG to gain another Olympic medal. And SG did it this time! Well done table tennis women's team.

As I read thru some of the debates among some forums about foreign talents playing for SG, I can't help but pity these people. Firstly they fail to see the big picture: the medal is for Singapore but they fail to see it. Secondly, getting a silver medal will inspire more home grown talents (and overseas talents) to spur on for higher achievements, for Singapore! Yet, what those people see is only the $$ these athletes will get, scrutinizing their original nationality and failing to see what they have done for Singapore.

In short, they fail to see the good.

Anyway, church svc is good today! Liberation! heeeharrr! when worshipping God. The invited speaker is a God's send, touching on what I felt about worshipping. The power of sound is truely amazing.

And this week is a mini breakthrough,for Christ, in Christ. AMEN! HALLELUJAH

[dinner]

Dinner @ lyn and dan's house was fabulous. Fried crispy salmon with shoyu toufu topped with fragrant deep fried spring onions and oil. Dessert was another fab chocolate ice cream from QB Food. Miso soup was good as well.

And I finally see the infamous vacuum cleaner dog, Frankie. He is quite cute leh and playful but did not have the chance to see how quickly he can gobble up anything that drop onto the floor but he sure finished his dinner fast.

Fellowship session was great, touched on several issues, prayers were great and I could sense the presence of God and His angels in the midst. Amazing huh, I did not see the angels but there was this vision which I can somehow 'see' the angels praying as well. Ever since I started out on baptism class, I kinda missed the fellowship sessions in the hawker center with lyn and dan. Got to know more about Catholics which somewhat answered my questions abt them.

Oh yeah their apartment is quite nicely done. If im allowed to stay overnight there, I really dun mind. =x

[baptism class lesson 1]

Attended my 1st baptism lesson 1, it was shorter than I thought. The lesson was ok, simple and straight forward. The only thing was that one husband brought his wife and son into the class, what's more was his son was playing the psp and transformer toy and the wife was giving him water, sweater etc...why not bring his pet dog, maid, parents, grandparents, uncles,aunties into the class also? Also someone farted in the midst of the lesson, well done. Talk about distractions.

Dan had a word (or more than a word) for me after svc. He said he had a vision of me in a suit of armour, ready to run (to where? =x) with an angel polishing my armour and one angel praying over me *GASP* I was meant for great things.

I seen some of my friends seeking approval, acceptance, expecting expectations from human. What they ended up with are often disappointment, bitterness, sadness and brokenness.

As I looked back into my past entries, I did find a stark difference in my outlook of life and myself compared to just a few months ago. I still have my own struggles tho and I have faith some day I will break out of it.
