[The CNY]

This year's CNY is a little different from the previous. Firstly, my ang pao's amount declined greatly. Secondly, I went visiting to more relative's places.

The CNY afternoon was spent at the newly married cousin's place @ Queenstown. The weather was bright, sunny and HOT. Nothing much there except we watched some homemade DVD of my cousin's wedding, played ard with his new laptop running VISTA home. The laptop is nice and thin and cheap for its specs but VISTA is really another skin wrapped over XP with so called enhanced security features. Besides the eyecandy, the rest took them 5 yrs? Makes me wonder what in the world are they doing.

Anyway the cousins initially intended to come to my house to pay a visit but due to the on and off rain changed the plans and we went to a aunt's place instead which is one station away from my home. The dinner was nice, home cooked mian hun kway! The soup was boiled from dried scallops,pork and shrimps. And mian hun kway mst have home made chilli padi sauce...anyway I had 3 small bowls which were not too filling haha.

Then I reluctantly went wif my mum and 2 uncles to visit my eldest aunt who is staying in AMK.

Then it is night time and now is the 2nd day of CNY.
