[shopping @ AMK]

Went out with mum early in the morning to pay a visit to the Tse Toh Ann for my late dad's death annivesary. Having slept late the night before, I was tad grouchy. heh =x

Anyway after that we made our way to AMK Central. AMK Mall is going to be completed soon, after a 4 yrs wait? The colors were up but the other side seems pretty incomplete. We were told that it will be opened by this week. We had kway chap and the famous fried carrot cake for late breakfast before walking ard. Strangely enough, the grouchiness seemed to disappear after the meal..guess I must be hungry, a hungry man is an angry man indeed haaha. Mum was shopping ard for clothes while I simply tagged along..

We passed by a video shop and I saw the Korean drama which i have been looking for,"My Girl". Well I merely asked the price before walking off to look at other stuff such as scouting ard for a new pair of specs. We walked one round before passing by this video shop again and I bought the DVDs hehe. Later, we continued to go to a few shops before settling on one shop which I rem I did make a pair of specs in 1997/1998. Anyway this shop gave the best price though it did not have the frame model which I saw and wanted at the other shops. The downside is that this shop did not have many titanium frame models as compared to the other shops. Well, I settled on a similar looking one, this time is a no frame specs haha and with a so called 'unbreakable' lens. Never wore a no frame specs before and since there is no frame to house and protect the lens, I have to be more careful abt it.

I got my first pair of titanium frame specs in 1997/1998 at this spec shop. Ever since I have always insisted on titanium frames because they are light,strong and does not corrode easily. Almost all the metal frame specs I wore since 1992 corroded due to perspiration and it leave funny green color oxides residues.

Well,will be collecting the specs on Friday. I hope I will look different. anyone wanna see how i look like with the new specs? =X

Ok, nowadays I love looking at babies/toddlers. Dun u find them cute n shoooooo adorable? The innocence in their smiles and the way they look into ur eyes is so mesmorising and captivating and so pure. Well that is when they are not wailing and make a nuisance of themselves. I saw this toddler in AMK with his parents and grandparents. He could walk already and he was trying to climb the stairs, haha..then his parents were all fussing over him afraid he might fall.

In the afternoon, mum nagged again...to 'urge' me to find her a future daughter-in-law tskkkkkkk...so easy meh?
