[TOKYO 260906 - 011006]

Looks like this biz trip is confirmed. The schedule is 26 Sep to 1st Oct. There were some hiccups on meeting a client in Jpn due to some problems with our goods and some compensation issues. Anyway hope there will not be anymore. That old jiji has some odd temperaments. But then this time round, most likely we are not going to Hokkaido to meet this jiji. We are going Tokyo!!! YAY! We are going to my Jpn agent's office to have a meeting. Maybe I can meet that Jpn gal with a cute voice, hehe.

Anyway, I dun like flying and this time I supposed I am flying alone (again). I cannot slp well on the plane cos it is so noisy. Guess this is different in the Business and 1st Class cabins.

Ok, finally I did something about my acne scarred complexion by going to see Dr Yeak @ Raffles Hosp. The clinic is nicely done, very cosy and very much like the clinics I went b4 @ Mount E. The service @ Aesthetic Center was great, rarely will u get such services from gahment hospitals. The nurses were nice (& young) and will greet every patient wif a smile. Try going to TTSH and u see nurses or doctors with a very unwilling face, often frowned and will avoid eye contact with patients. Are they overworked? I dunno but all I know is TTSH SUX, their doctors sux.

Oh abt my face, the nice lady doct told me my acne is more or less burnt out (not so active as when I was 17) so she asked me to do CP (chemical peeling) on the spot yesterday. I was abit er apprehensive thus I requested for facial washes or other forms of treatment 1st. Dr Yeak was fine and easy going with anything, in fact I dunno what to do..so I asked her to recommend. So I got a Therapeutic Dermatologic Formula AHA Facial wash, lotion and Retin A. Total damage is $117+!! A poorer man now...The doct said my scars n marks are rather light and superficial and also I nv use alot of skincare pdts on my face before, so I might have better results? Well I guess that's good news. Anyway I was advised to get sunblock..tho dr yeak nv recommended me cos she was worried it might cause outbreak due to clogged pores. I am keen on getting la roche posay sunblock which is gg to cos me $40+ I will be going back to see her after 1 months time.

Watching tonite's Te Xie left me sad.Cos tonite's 'case' was on 3 siblings whose parents cld not afford to pay for their pri sch education. Can u believe that this exist in Singapore? The eldest is a 13YO kid who is now in Pri 3, 2nd is a 12YO gal who is now in Pri 3, 3rd sibling is 10 also in P3. And their mum just given birth to a 4th child! Apparently, their sobstory is both parents were jobless so they cannt afford to send them to school. But good news is they have received ample help and now these 3 kids are doing extremely well with their studies.

Anyway this leads me to think so many young SG kids dunno how fortunate they are to be able to go school. Some kids even complain what Chinese diff to learn. Do they ever know that some kids dun even have the chance to go to school? Honestly, young people, including my generation and those younger do not fully appreciate what they have now. Complain complain complain, they shld go out work and mayb that will shut their trap and make them appreciate how lucky they are to be in SG.
