Went for an interview on Tues for the position of an operations executive. As usual, I was there too early due to a bad sense of timing. The venue was at Rex House which is juz further down Sim Lim Square, surprisingly I do not know of this Rex House even tho I passed by there every time I go to Sim Lim, ahhahaha.

First impression of the company, woah not bad. Pretty big and new. When I went up to the reception, I got a nice surprise. Sitting on the desk was a iMac G4! The half sphere CPU with a LCD. It was not on anyway hahha. I was given a form to fill up. I hate filling up forms cos it is such a hassle. Another nice suprise was I saw a iMac G5 in the meeting room! woohoo..this company sure know how to use good stuff. When I was inside the meeting room, I realise there was an iSight (Apple's SGD258 webcam) connected to it! There was also a huge lcd TV (with alot of fingerprints). Overall quite an impressive setup.

The operation manager and HR Manager interviewed me telling me on the roles of this position. Things I rem were 'very irregular hours, airport, 3am in the morning, 12am in the morning go airport, coordination, contractors, hotels etc etc." I initially thot it was a similar position I had when i was working in the travel agency but apparently, this position encompasses alot more. They stressed this is not a travel agency but is in the hospitality industry. It involves events management, coordination etc etc. Right, the interview ended and I went home shortly after walking to SLS.
