2 albums to get in Dec...rather long awaited

1) Namie Amuro (安室　奈美恵） newest album Style She was the pop queen of the mid nineties in Japan..after getting her ovum fertilised by her playboy dancer / ex member of pop grp TRF in 1997, she was almost "gone" and soon after Ayumi popped into the scene, Ayumi soon replaced her throne of pop queen. Namie previous album "Break the rules" was great. Now Namie has grown from a teeny popper to a sexy,sultry matured modern lady. She still looked fabulous.

2) Ayumi Hamasaki (浜崎　あゆみ） And no, pls dun call her "bu" Its a damm spastic translation of the her name "ayumi" into kanji. Her latest release will be a mini album wif DVD !!! Its called MemorialAddress She probably looked the best in still photos..ahaha...she has been my desktop wallpaper for several yrs...u cant deny her image is indeed eye candy.

Anyway i think most of the local cd stores will get the cheapskate parallel Asian imports of these albums. Im not surprised, really. Since Jpop became popular in 1998, more and more of these pirated/ not to be sold in Japan parallel versions of these CDS began to flood our stores. Things were not so bad in 1996-1997 where Jpop was relatively unpopular.

Im pissed wif parallel imports of Jpop CDs...and my friend is pissed off wif parallel imports of PS 2 games.

Last day of work @ British Council, surprisingly time really flies. I started work on the 13th of Oct and now is coming to the end of Nov. And yes, I left my Terminator 3 poster behind. But instead of taking the poster, I brought back some unwanted copies of idn, some design magazine. Packing up e office is HELL. Im suprised I nv sprang my back.

Well actually, this is the 1st time i completed my temp job assignment. The previous job sucked to the core. To be more precise, the company SUCKS. When I knocked off this evening, I actually felt a little reluctant to leave. Well they requested me to stay on but due to the fact that I will be working in a new company next Mon, I only had to turn them down. Anyway, now they need people to pack up e office and today i managed to clear up quite abit of stuff. They got another temp in the evening too. Oh well...

Not been thinking too much lately. Thus the bitching has paused. :P

Accidentally clicked my (ex) church homepage. By looking at the pics did bring back some memories...good n bad...anyway FUCK THEM !!! FUCK THE SELFISH BASTARDS N BITCHES ALL !

Oh yeah, did i mention my new mouse ? It costed me $55 and its a Logitech MX 310, successor to the MX300. The difference is that the MX310 has 2 side buttons for u to forward or backward ur web page and one central button for activating active n non active windows. E first original Fuwell on e 4th floor had this mouse sold out, but i managed to find it in the new outlet one floor above. And mine got a 5 yr warranty.

Optical mouse RULEZ ! No "guts" to clean...

Work is almost coming to an end at British Council. Anyway, nv went to the movie premier of "Love Actually" but i heard plenty of good reviews for the show. My director said Colin Firth was great. But i had no idea who he was..hahaha..of the cast, i only noe Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson, Laura Linney and of cos Rowan Atkinson. Here's e URL Love Actually

Oh i shall tok abt the guests who were invited and those who went. Mostly were my director's contacts. They r mostly CEOs, Managing Director, professors, doctors, presidents of NUS or Universities etc etc... and yeah Hossan Leong went. I did heard some funny comments abt Hossan tho...

Worst thing that happened was the British Alumni who told us before hand that they will be bringing 45 guests, instead of 45, they brought 70 without informing us. Luckily, there were enuff seats cos some who pledged their attendance nv turn up.

Packing up my office stuff was hell. Countless things (13 yrs of accumulated stuff ) to pack and so much dust which triggered my flu. Forgot to mention I delivered 8 boxes of wine, 3 cartons of beer, 1 huge box of paper fans, 3 bags of plastic wine cups and 1 box of wine glasses to GV Grand ytd. The wine boxes WERE heavy..Nonetheless i got a free work out. Same thing happen today, moving the huge boxes of office materials was like pushing a car. Went back to GV Grand to move back e remaining wine n other stuff. Guess e dust, moving in and outta air-conditioned rooms while pespiring proved too much a toil for me. haha.......

I think "Islamic" terrorists who claim to be declaring jihat in e name of their allah wif the Jews, like pyrotechnics ALOT. So much so, they will share such wonderful eyecandy wif them (jews) by setting off car bombs, flying jets into buildings and more bombs and more bombs n more bombs. And there is one fucking,senile retired M*laysian minister who said this " a few million Jews can nv beat a few billion Muslims" I do suspect he might be involved in all these jihat stuff.

What can i say ? M*laysians r dogs and u can nv get "ivory from a dirty dog bastard mouth" ( Chinese saying, gou zhui zhang bu chu xiang ya ) It simply means u cant get anything decent outta a bastard's mouth.

I think there r only 2 religions which "allow" their believers to make war in the name of their gods, Islam (Jihat warriors) and Christianity(crusaders). Both r frm the same "creator" - God or Allah. (I dun rem seeing monks declaring "Budhha Holy war" against non believers.) The mere difference is only the belief in their saviours, Jesus and Muhamad. Anyway, human nature is like this, so called "flawed". There will be some people who will make use of this religious "stint" to make trouble, like i said, in e name of God, in e name of Allah. And such people r simply cowards who only dare to stand behind e facade of religion to make trouble, for e people they dun like, such as e Americans. So wats wrong wif America ? The fact that e whites r superior n richer than us make the poor people of so-n-so countries see red ?

Im juz wondering, whats e point of making so much trouble ? Humans r a complicated race.

And....i need to get a new mouse cos e old one which stayed wif me for 5+ yrs had retired frm old age..haha..i was cleaning its "guts" when suddenly i realise it cant move anymore.

There is nothiing the cheena people cant do, including chopping a woman's belly open to deliver a child for a woman who had a difficult labour. E reason she had a difficult labour was becos she was given a shot ( which supposedly to help her to hve a easier delivery ) 3 times e normal dosage. E "surgical" tool this pathetic woman used is ur normal kitchen chopper. And no, its not those fancy high class looking stainless steel u see in departmental stores. It those huge ones u will see a pork seller whivers.

Apparently, i was right. Cheena people r damm smart. They can get very creative and will improvise on anything jus to get e job done. And oways rem, there is nothing they cant do, nothing they cant think of doing. And im certainly so proud of having my roots related to such "foreign talents"

Graceful city my ASS _|_ see this ? Singapore, my salute to u ! _|_

Tokking abt work will be too mundane n pointless cos its more of a repetition than anything else.

In the evening after work, i was waiting for my bus as usual. Suddenly, there was this taxi which stopped in front of the bus stop n alighted one old lady wif a walking stick. She was so frail looking and i actually thot she could be on some wheel chair...She was struggling to get herself outta e taxi and no one bothered to lift their 7 feet underground rooted feet off the bloody pavement to help !!! What abt the fucking taxi driver !? What e bloody hell was he doing inside e taxi ?

One other old lady bothered to help her onto the pavement but somehow e frail old lady was saying she was hurting her. (?) So I went forward to help her onto the pavement. She requested me to help her "upstairs" and i was wondering what it mean until she pointed me to help her get onto the overhead bridge near Far East Plaza. One unusual thing was she asked me to stop e escalator which was moving upwards by signalling me to press e red button situated at the bottom of e escalator.

Becos e escalator was very narrow, she was walking in front of me while i helped her to hold her walking stick.

My god, tok abt being a graceful society... yeah graceful my ASS ! While this is e nature of the sterotypical pathetic peasants living in Singapore. This is a very "Singaporean" trait. Such pathetic uncouth behaviour often seen in MRTs, on buses where people will simply "gang" up near the entrance n leaving the middle part of the train almost empty. What abt standing on the left of the escalator ? This morning i was intending to move up more quickly by taking the right lane but right in front of me was one fucking fat pundei woman blocking the way !

Like wat my friend like to say, most sterotypical Singaporeans r uncouth uneducated and illiterate peasants still living in the kampong era. What do i mean by that--take a look at this

Ytd when i was queueing up for my fried rice, i overheard 2 pri sch gals asking them mum how to say " put e chilli aside" in Mandarin. I was kinda taken aback by disgust. These 2 gals are at least Pri 3 and they cant speak simple Mandarin ?

I dun think this is only e case in Singapore but there was a hot topic regarding this issue some time back. Some Singaporean Chinese have e bloody cheek to say Mandarin is a difficult language and its a torture to learn it. So wtf have their parents been teaching them ? Whatever their bloody excuses are, Mandarin is their mother tongue and they bloody well learn it !

Another thing which made me to realise is how mixed up the "English" and "Mandarin" are in Singapore. After in working in BC, those "English" puntuated with "lahs,"lohs","mahs","le(s)","de(s)" and what have u can make me squirm...a fine illustration is e entry below. ( this is not the ultimate, another similar entry is the killer which can be located in my archives ) No doubt its a very localised "language" but it certainly dun reflect well. Worse case is having adults ( eg 24 yr olds ) :P speaking them like nobody's biz.

Does anyone realise our Mandarin is something which alot of Mainland Chinese n Taiwanese dun understand ? Most likely, e sole reason is we use too many English terms in our "mandarin" Its kinda embarassing. I rem how e situation was like when my ex lecturer was explaining our course n e things we did in our course to a grp of visiting Mainland Chinese.

Singapore is indeed a multi racial society. Its so "multi" that each individual race dun seem to have its roots anymore esp e Singaporean Chinese. E local Chinese cant speak proper Mandarin and English. Even e dialects, do u know that Hokkien is a written form of language in Taiwan and its call min nan yu ? Simply listen to the song in Channel U "Pi Li Huo" n look at the lyrics, u will realise how diff Taiwanese "hokkien" is to e local one. E hokkien in local context is prob used for scolding people and it certainly looks like it.

Games consoles are now in the 128bit era (Playstation 2) Now there is something called Gameboy Advance SP and soon Sony will release its 1st handheld set called PSP. The PS 3 processor is in the making.

One way to gauge e intelligence level is simply on e TV, see wat kinda local variety shows ( esp on mondays) are on TV, and of course the extremely entertaining TV commecials which will make u stick ur tongue out like the "Wo hen shuai ying wo yong Sunpage IDD" and the dancing morons of Wayway washing powder and the Samaritian good aromatic Nestle coffeebean.

It has been insanely hectic today. 6 voice msgs abt RSVP wif regards to the film gala and endless emails. Spent half e day sending n replying emails. And still endless emails n emails. Arrgh~~

Doing RSVP is fine. But I do prefer to be done via emails n not phonecalls. E reason is I'm dealing wif alot of British and frankly I'm not good at interpreting foreign accents too well,needless to say names. Some names have the most bizarre spelling like Mcheelygigg Schilenmlyiirmnyl stuff like that. Anyone has any idea how to prononce such names? Worst case is with the person speaking in a accent which all alphabets sound almost the same. Indeed sui generis is such a name. If i rem correctly, she sounded as if she is snorting thru her nose when she is speaking ? :p

At ard 4.30+ suddenly e fire alarm went off. And all of the BC people were asked to evacuate. Tok abt disturbances and this is a major one. Wat a wowser.

China

I do wonder. Are e people there desperate for money or wat ? E recent broadcasts of their heartless businessmen doing illegal processing to their food dun seem to be too inviting for foreign investors. Now i dun buy luncheon meat or their spice pork..cos they might be using rotten carcasses or sick dying pigs for such stuff. Their pork floss is made using such according to the news.

Is China a potemkin village despite its "techological" breakthru of sending an astronaut into space ? I was thinking, wats e bloody big deal of sending an astronaut and making such a big whoo ha over it ? Its not like China is the world's 1st in doing such feat. Well i will be proud if China send e 1st man to another galaxy but into space ??? Since how long have mankind been going to space back n fro and even landing themselves onto other planets ? Like since 1965 ? And now FINALLY in 2003, a whooping difference of 38 yrs.

No country occupied by mostly Chinese, like China people. Countries like Singapore, Taiwan particularly and even HK dun like China. Her people r well known for craftiness,cunning, and scruptlous and will stop at nothing to get rich. Looked at the no. of cheena students in our local educational institutes !!!!!! i think abt 40% r frm land of the chee-nas. Not to say e workforce. Almost everyone u see now, is a chee-na man. I dun think we need so called foreign talents like some of the workers here, since i m so sure our local poly n Uni grads r well versed enuff to take on any of their jobs.

Matrix Revolution

Summary of the show

- Neo did not die but Trinity did. And the ending leave u hanging in e air sort of anti-climax The ending is not completed esp at e part when Neo spoke to the spikey "core" of the machines. After an exhausting battle wif e irritating Smith, he collasped n somewat being drawn into e machines to be attended (?)

- new machines discovered. They r e drilling dunno wat u call that. Its like the techno drome in Ninja turtles..Main purpose is to drill n drill and they got legs.

- Humans alone can never defeat the machines. Simply too many of them. Have u seen sentinels pouring in like a leaking bag full of water ? U will see endless streams of sentinels...n humans r only equipped wif manned robots wif limited ammo ( need to be reloaded once depleted )

- Please kindly turn off ( or silent it ) ur bloody phone when u r in the theatres. A simple push of a few buttons will make any show more enjoyable. Singaporeans dun learn, do they ?
